Implementation Agreement

Last updated: September 30, 2026

Thank you for selecting DockMaster Software as your marina management system!

At DockMaster, we know that a successful implementation is the key component to a win-win relationship. Please understand that the Implementation process is a team effort. Training, data collection, and feedback are all important parts of the process. Many of these items are time-sensitive, and any delays in data collection and training attendance could delay the Go Live Process. We encourage you to ask questions and provide feedback to your Professional Services Specialist.

During the implementation process, your Professional Services Specialist and other DockMaster team members will be working with your team through a series of phone calls and Teams meetings. There are a few things to remember that will make this implementation a successful one.

  • Appoint a dedicated implementation manager from your company. The implementation manager should be available to work side-by-side with our Professional Services and Support teams to complete tasks thoroughly and on-time. They should have the authority to delegate tasks to other members of your team.
  • It is important to involve all departments and relevant personnel with decisions regarding your new software INCLUDING functional/daily users, executives relying upon reports, IT staff supporting the software, etc. From the look and feel of invoices to the content of daily sales reports, all feedback provided at the beginning of the process will help avoid excess time and cost on the back end.
  • When the online training portion of implementation begins, it is essential that all employees attend their relevant modules. All attendees should be given a distraction-free environment and are encouraged to participate and ask questions. This may require scheduling employees to be in attendance in a conference room or office environment.
  • For tasks to be completed on time, both the DockMaster team and your implementation manager will need to be in constant communication. If deadlines need to be adjusted, please let our team know as soon as possible. Documents must be provided in a timely manner to allow the DockMaster team time to convert and upload data. Any delays may result in an adjusted Go Live date.
  • Your PS Specialist will be booking travel arrangements 2-3 weeks in advance of travel, so once a timeline has been established it will be important to stick to the assignment dates to avoid any additional costs with rescheduling logistics. Any changes to the Go Live logistics that result in price changes will be billed to the customer.
