Conference Agenda
Foundation sessions and three days of hands-on training at the DockMaster User Conference 2026
Sessions are planned for the days shown, but we may shift them within a day as we finalize class sizes. Times and room assignments will be published closer to the conference.
Numbers like I, II, and III indicate different material, not skill level. Later sessions generally move from core workflow into fine-tuning and troubleshooting, but you don't have to attend them in order. Every session assumes some working knowledge of DockMaster — there is no absolute-beginner track this year.

Training Sessions
Practice what you learn in a dedicated lab environment. Perfect for testing features, asking questions, and getting personalized assistance from our team. Open alongside every session below.
Early Morning
Choose one session — these run concurrently.
Accounting I
Check your accounting health with our daily, weekly, monthly, and yearly accounting checklist. During this training, you'll create your own internal checklist to keep your workflows streamlined. This course starts at the beginning by defining and describing the accounting hierarchy in DockMaster. Once we have that foundation, we'll walk through each of the steps to make sure your lines don't get tangled. How do you tackle the day-to-day accounting in DockMaster? Bring your to-do list and show us your techniques.
Inventory Management I
This hands-on session covers special orders — whether they originate from Point of Sale, a work order, or straight from the Special Order module — along with every step of the Purchase Order module, including exporting to your vendor portals to submit orders. We'll walk through the receiving process and how to apply price factors from the receiver. Come prepared with a few part numbers that run through your shop frequently so we can use them in your training account for real practice.
Service Management I
This session covers using templates, estimates, and work orders, including the estimate approval process and adding charges and parts on the fly using DockMaster Web. We'll close and bill operations and go in depth on print options, so you can dial in exactly what your customers see during checkout. There are a million ways to bill in the system, so come ready to share your approach and why it works for you — whether that's billing by date, by percentage, or per operation.
Late Morning
Choose one session — these run concurrently.
DM Mobile
Take the shop out into the field with the Mobile Technician App, a browser-based tool that works on any device — desktop, laptop, tablet, or phone. In this session, we'll show technicians how to enter time, add notes, photos, and videos to a work order, check out inventory to an operation, and mark the job complete. We'll also cover the scheduling side in DockMaster Web, giving service managers the tools to manage the employee calendar and track billable time. Bring whatever device you'd like to work from so you can follow along from both sides of the workflow.
BluSynq
Your phone rings while your team is on the docks. BluSynq answers it. This session introduces BluSynq, an AI agent built for marinas that takes the call and then works the request instead of just taking a message — looking up the customer and their boat, quoting from your operation codes, sending the estimate out for signature, scheduling the technician, and reserving the slip. It isn't a chatbot; it's an agent connected to DockMaster, so what it does in a conversation shows up in your system. We'll follow a real service call end to end, look at what the unified inbox and Voice Dashboard tell you about the work being taken off your team, and cover how you stay in control — Manual, Ask, or Auto mode, limiting which operation codes and technicians the agent may touch, and naming who it escalates to. Bring your busiest-season phone problem.
Marina Management I
Get ready to make billing effortless! This session covers bill codes, boat file, boat placement, proposals, and eSignature. We'll show you how to set up bill codes, build proposals customers can sign through DockMaster Web eSignature and convert straight to an invoice, and send them one at a time or in bulk. We'll also cover storing a payment on file on the customer's account so you can use auto cash receipts to collect payment from customers who've consented to autopay.
Early Afternoon
Choose one session — these run concurrently.
Super User Session — System Administration
Built for super users who know the system backwards and forwards, this session digs into the System Administration panel, covering user permissions and other security settings in detail, plus how to merge customer, vendor, or prospect records. Access to the panel is required to join, and the format is conversational — we want to hear what other features you rely on most in System Administration. Bring your toughest questions or your top-secret tricks to share with the class, and let's learn from each other.
Sales Management I
From first contact to signed contract, this one walks through the entire sales workflow: prospecting, quotes, contracts, and building out a sales contract from start to finish. We'll troubleshoot the sticking points, like how to swap out serialized inventory on a contract and other snafus that come up during the closing process. Our customers are the real experts here, so come share any tricks you've picked up for navigating this module and entering details that give you the best numbers.
DockMaster Web
Every session at the conference includes workflows in DockMaster Web, but this session is dedicated to all the customizations of the product. The focus is primarily on settings, with a general overview of the entire functionality. We'll show you how to set up your user view to see all the information tailored to your role, and how to create a customer portal login to test what your customers see when you send them information. By the time you leave this session, you'll be the expert and can help any of your team members navigate the configuration of the platform with ease.
Late Afternoon
Choose one session — these run concurrently.
Report Generator
Your data is at your fingertips. In this training, we'll teach you how to extract and interact with your information to make informed business decisions. We're encouraging participation in this session, so if you've found a metric that has provided meaningful insight into your business — please show and tell!
Layout Builder
Create custom print layouts to wow your customers. In this session, we'll show you how to update your default layouts to the modern versions and customize them to fit your needs. Bring your laptops and your artistic vision! If you have an existing layout that you'd like to modify, we'll walk through all the steps to customize what your customers see when you send them an estimate, invoice, statement, or any other document. This is a workshop-style course, so please be sure you have access to the layout portion of the software to participate.
Point of Sale + Order Entry
This workshop walks you through operating the Point of Sale module both as a retail clerk and as a manager, including configuration and privacy settings, so it's built with managers in mind. We'll train the trainer — showing you how to teach your own clerks to run the system with confidence. From there, we'll explore the Order Entry module, where you can put together retail parts quotes, send them for customer approval, and once approved, convert them to an order that posts to the AR account or sends straight to Point of Sale to ring up at the register.

EOY Physical Inventory
Time to count it all! This class walks you through your year-end inventory count, keeping on-hand amounts and inventory valuation spot-on accurate. We'll share best practices for setting up stockroom locations and pulling reports that group items by location for a full-scale, whole-inventory count, plus how to run smaller cycle counts throughout the year to keep sections updated in between. Bring your best tips and let's trade notes on scanning barcodes and taking count the fast, efficient way!

Super User Session — Administrator Access
This session gives web administrators a full overview of their privileges within DockMaster Web. With the move to SQL, a new set of administrator options is coming online, and we'll walk through everything you'll be able to do with this new technology. Bring your questions on the current admin panel and we'll show you what's changing and what's staying the same.
Sales Management II
Import models straight from a vendor model file — a hugely useful tool once you know it's there. In this session we'll show you exactly how, plus walk through purchasing and receiving so nothing falls through the cracks. We'll go field by field through the model file so everyone understands what each one means and how to fill it in, giving your sales team a clear view of what's in stock and available so they can move inventory out the door as smoothly as possible.
Marina Management II
This session covers managing waitlists, so you can keep prospective customers organized and ready to move into a slip when one opens up. We'll walk through the Launch Management calendar for scheduling and tracking haul and launch services, plus how to process metered services like electric and water. If you're still using paper meter reader sheets, bring them along for show and tell — this will be a discussion-based class where we learn from each other on why some teams automate these processes and others keep them manual.
Late Afternoon
Choose one session — these run concurrently.
Service Management II
Get ready to cover a lot of ground: Service Monitor, detail charges and tab-specific views, warranty work and warranty claims, and the forecast tool and other reports for reviewing your service metrics. It's a train-the-trainer setup, so you'll leave ready to teach these to your whole staff. We want to hear from users who've mastered these areas, so come ready to share how you interact with your data to improve business performance and technician productivity.
Accounting II
This one picks up where Accounting I leaves off: trial balance and troubleshooting out-of-balance accounts, importing and exporting data if you're working with other systems, and financial statement tables so you can pull up your P&L and Balance Sheet with confidence. We'll walk through each piece step by step so you know exactly where to look when something doesn't add up. Bring your questions on any of your own out-of-balance accounts and we'll work through them together.
Inventory Management II
This session builds on the fundamentals with vendor parts loads, so you can get whole vendor catalogs into your system without manual entry. We'll show you how to build parts kits, make inventory adjustments, and — for multi-location businesses — transfer parts between locations. Bring your vendor catalogs so we can practice updating them with the most recent part numbers in your training account. No need to have anything current going in, since this is just practice for when you're ready to update your live account with the next catalog release.

Marina Management III
See your marina at a glance with VisualMarina, a graphic overview that shows exactly which slips and racks are occupied. This session covers transient reservations: we'll walk through how to occupy a slip temporarily and bill customers on a daily or weekly rate. Since we've recently upgraded this feature, we'll demonstrate the original functionality alongside the new version in DockMaster Web. If you haven't made the move to the upgraded version yet, our Customer Success Managers will be on site and happy to talk through what's involved.
