DockMaster Mobile App Named to Boating Industry’s 2019 Top Products
Here at DockMaster, we are excited and honored to announce that we have been included in Boating Industry’s 2019 Top Products list! For the second year in a row, DockMaster has been included on Boating Industry’s annual Top Products list. This year, DockMaster’s Mobile App was named among Boating Industry’s top 50 products. This is the 6th annual release of the list, which features 50 of the best new and updated products and services of the marine industry. The annual list features products ranging from boats, engines, electronics, apps and more. With over 150 submissions under consideration, DockMaster’s mobile app stood out.

The app empowers marina service techs on the go. With the marine industry moving at a quicker pace, manually using a paper process is being phased out, therefore requiring some mobility. Thanks to DockMaster’s mobile app, there are no more time sheets to fill out which can be time consuming and prone to errors. So, why did DockMaster Mobile Service stand out? Here are a few key features of the app that wowed Boating Industry.
Mobile Time Clock
DockMaster’s mobile time clock makes life easier on managers on technicians. What does the Mobile Time Clock do?
- Tracks the actual amount of time expended on a job
- Select from a list of open Work Orders
- Select associated tasks (opcodes)
- Change the start time for increased accuracy
- Add notes (type or voice-to-text recognition)
Mobile Time Card
Technicians are able to enter time on work orders using the aforementioned Time Clock or Time Card feature. Among the Mobile Time Card’s key functions include:
- Add and edit time cards
- Start/Stop time or Total Hours
- Select work order and associated tasks (opcodes)
- Change the dates – including backdated time entries
- Add Notes (type or voice-to-text recognition)
- Add Photos/Videos
Thanks to the Mobile Scheduler, technicians are able to review their assigned jobs, all while seamlessly syncing with DockMaster. The functions include:
- View/select jobs scheduled in DockMaster
- Color-code status: Completes, In Progress or Not Started
- Tab a job to launch the Time Clock or Time Card
