DockMaster® Mobile

DockMaster Mobile is a set of handheld marina management applications that allow operators to monitor and track slip usage, perform physical inventory, check electric meters, enter time clock data and add parts to a work order.

DockWalk Program
The DockWalk program allows users to dump slip information, customer information and boat information from DockMaster into a PDA database. Once the PDA database has been updated a user will walk the docks verifying the boat in each slip. Is the correct boat in the slip? Is the slip empty? Is there a different boat in the slip? The PDA user also has the ability to enter comments about the slip. Once the user has walked the docks, the PDA is brought back to the client PC and the gathered information is copied back into DockMaster and a report is run on the data.

Electric Meters Program
The Electric Meters program allows users to dump slip information from DockMaster into a PDA device. Once the PDA database has been updated a user will walk the docks, and enter meter readings for each slip. This program can be run from inside the DockWalk program or on it’s own. Once the user has walked the docks the PDA is brought back to the client PC and the gathered information is copied back into DockMaster and a report is run on the data.

Parts Physical Program
The Parts Physical program is for Physical Inventory counts. The user scans the barcode on an inventory item, then enters the physical count for the item, and optionally enters the stockroom location and any comments about the item. Once the user has finished the physical count, the PDA is brought back to the client PC and the gathered information is copied back into DockMaster and a report is run on the data before the inventory is adjusted.

Service Program
The Service program allows the user to enter time and parts for any open Work Order. To enter time, the user enters the work order number, the operation code, their tech ID and a start time. When the user has finished working on the job, they will enter the work order number, the operation code, their tech ID and the time they stopped working on the job. To enter parts, the user will enter the work order number, the operation code, their tech ID, the date, the part number and the quantity of the part used. At the end of the day, the PDA is brought back to the client PC and the gathered information is copied back into DockMaster, validated, and added to the Work Order record.
